What is an FR44?

If you have gotten a DUI, DWI or other alcohol-related violations, you may be required by the State to file an FR44 in Florida to confirm that your automobile insurance has the proper coverage. An FR44 insurance filing is similar to a SR22; however, FR44s require a higher limit of coverage to be maintained and require you to pay for 6 months of coverage upfront.
